Shoutout to everyone involved in this project, from the EU to .loku space. What an incredible experience! Getting to work with so many talented creatives from different backgrounds and disciplines was honestly insightful and deeply inspiring. I learned a lot from everyone — from conceptualizing ideas, to communication, to the effort it takes to work as a team. Grateful for it all 🙏🏾🫶🏾

Can't wait for the premiere of the project 📽

I've been working on a body of work focusing on bringing together certain ideas of our shared perception and reality of cognitive biases and psychological social phenomena. Like the danching effect and bystander effect on how these biases shape our society and ways we interact with each other to the world around with all it's turbulences, in visual format that also allows interpretation to the viewer.

The constant push against mental prisons and boundaries that limit expression. Here's a cook up I was working on with pastels before getting started with my commissions

For this design I went for a visually bold aesthetic and authentic look.

By mixing the SNT Faces art style with the brand's colorway. Using the given pallette, with the faces which represent different emotions of the lived human experience. In this case a vibey energy of a township that encapsulates the popping spark and food appeal within the township aided by an echo street art feel of graffiti.

Complemented the raw kasi character energy and boosted color play by refining the tagline`s typography "Kasi Meets Flavour" with a sleek formal commercial lettering finish. Lastly to the overall look of the colorway and faces by incorporating cultural symbols\patterns from our renowned Lihiya as borders alongside huts to capture the Swati spirit. Tying together urban contemporary with cultural identity.

(Added sketches, from traditional drawing to illustrating to achieve the desired final look)
