Day 4 Moyeni Tent Campaign

From Hiding to Rest (2 Sam 9:1-13)

David asked, “Is there anyone left from Saul’s family that I can show kindness to for Jonathan’s sake?” He discovered Mephibosheth, Jonathan’s son, who had been crippled in both feet since childhood and was living in hiding in a place called Lo-debar.

David showed mercy. He restored all of Saul’s land to Mephibosheth and invited him to eat at the king’s table continually, treating him like one of his own sons. David’s kindness was based on covenant love.

Day 3 Moyeni Tent Campaign

From Waiting to Rest (John 5:1–15)

The story of the paralytic at the Pool of Bethesda reminds us that human systems keep us waiting, striving, and competing, but Jesus brings true rest. For 38 years, the man lived in frustration, watching others receive their breakthrough while he remained stuck in “almost,” “maybe,” and “next time.”

When Jesus asked, “Do you want to be made well?” He was offering more than healing. He was offering wholeness, total Restoration, and rest. Unlike systems that depend on speed, strength, or connections, grace is not a competition. In one moment of faith and obedience, the man rose, walked, and entered true Sabbath Rest in Christ.

Day 2 Moyeni Tent Campaign

From Toil to Rest (Luke 5:1-10)

Have you ever worked hard, tried everything, and still seen no results? Like Peter, we often toil through the night and catch nothing. Yet when we trust Jesus and obey His word, He turns our emptiness into abundance and our toiling into rest.

God’s rest is not just a pause from work, it is life in Christ. He invites the weary, the burdened, and the discouraged to come to Him and find rest for their souls.

Day 1 Moyeni Tent Campaign

God’s Rest: A Promise Still Available (Hebrews 4:1-11)

From the beginning, rest was God’s design, not because He was tired, but to show completion, trust, and dependence on His finished work. Humanity lost this rest through disobedience, leading to a world filled with toil, worry, and restlessness in every area of life.

Yet God’s promise of rest still stands. The Israelites missed it through unbelief, but through Jesus, Lord of the Sabbath, true rest is fulfilled. At the cross, He declared, “It is finished,” inviting all who are weary to find rest for their souls.
