I caught my fiancée forcing my sister to clean, whispering, "Do it and don't complain… you don't want me to tell your brother your awful secret, do you?"

I'm 28, and for the past ten years, my sister has been my entire world.

Our parents died when I was 18. She was six.

I raised her and swore I'd always protect her.

And I thought I had.

When I met my fiancée, everything seemed to fall into place. She said she wanted to take care of our home and help with my sister. I even paid her a monthly allowance because I knew how hard running a household could be.

$5,000 each month.

At first, everything looked perfect.

But my sister became quieter, more distant, and always tired.

"Just teenage stuff," my fiancée would say. "She's jealous."

I trusted her.

Until last week.

I had to fly out for a business meeting, but it got canceled at the last minute. I returned home early—without telling anyone.

I heard sharp and mocking voices.

And then my sister's sobbing.

My chest tightened as I headed toward the kitchen.

She was on her knees on the marble floor, scrubbing it with a soaked sponge.

My fiancée sat at the table in a silk dress I'd just bought her, sipping wine, surrounded by her friends.

Watching.

One of them casually poured wine onto the floor my sister had just cleaned.

"Oh no… clean it again," she said lightly.

"Okay," my sister said softly.

My fiancée leaned back, smiling.

"When you're done here, go upstairs. Bathrooms next. I need this house perfect before your brother gets back."

Then her voice dropped.

"Don't even think about complaining. You don't want me to tell your brother your little secret… do you?"

"What secret?" I said, stepping into the room.

My sister looked up at me—her face pale, eyes swollen.

"Brother…" she whispered, her voice breaking. "I can't do this anymore."

She swallowed hard.

"Better you hear it from me… than from her."

My heart began pounding.

"What are you talking about?"

My sister looked straight at me.

"It's about Mom and Dad..." she murmured.

And what she said next made my blood run cold. ⬇️
