The ministry to children and young people is an intergral part of Christian Brothers' mission and so STAR Support Group-SOUTH SUDAN takes it with seriousness because the organization work with children and vulnerable people. We give support to parents and caregivers by enhancing skills to foster safe environments for the children.

CROP PRODUCTION TRAINING
The care givers and some parents for Orphans and vulnerable children attended the training on how to increase food production and help them take care of the children in a good way.

STAR SUPPORT GROUP MONTHLY OVC GATHERING
Once every month Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVCs) under the Star support group program, gather together for various activities including games, socializing and nutrition support. This month saw 352, 18 volunteers and 10 teacher trainees from Teachers College children gather at the center. Thanks to all facilitators and the staff who got involved in the activity. Capacity building enables organizations and their leaders to develop competencies and skills that can make them more effective and sustainable. We need to give Christ a chance to make use of us, to be his word and his work, to share his food and his clothing in the world today. If we do not radiate the light of Christ around us, the sense of the darkness that prevails in the world will increase.

Meet Diana Rossy the Finance Manager at Star Support Goup.....

Meet energetic James Francis Kumbaye, he is the Star Support Group Program Manager. He oversee the running of the activities of the program with over 20 members of staff and many volunteers.
