Importance of Faith in God

"Today being the Sunday of faith in God, we are reminded to be united through faith in God Almighty," the priest said.

In Jesus' teaching, we learn that Jesus Christ is the living bread as he says,"I am the living bread that came down from heaven..." and that anyone who believes in him will go to heaven.

First Assembly of Second Term Kicks Off in Rumbek, Lakes State

The first assembly of Second Term 2026 kicked off this morning at La Salle Boys' Secondary School.

Students were directed to start studies straightaway without wasting time.

Students were told to maintain discipline in order to concentrate on studies without interruption.

They were advised to keep personal hygiene very seriously to prevent acquisition of contagious diseases.

The learners were directed to ensure strict time management by making sure meals should end at 6:45 p.m. in the evening and 1:45 p.m. in the afternoon respectively.

Sunday Mass Message 31st May 2026

The message for the last Sunday Mass of May 2026 says our faith in God is based on a relationship with the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit.

In this context, God is calling us to a deeper relationship with Him.

On this day the three La Salle Brothers renewed their vows for the service of God.

Being the first Sunday Mass for Term II 2026, the school administration urged the students not to leave chairs outside.

The students were told to avoid going to collect drinking water during time for mass. The students were told to collect water in their individual bottles before the time of mass to keep them hydrated whenever there is high heat.

Furthermore, the students were directed to slash the football pitches every time before playing football at the peak of the rainy season in order to keep football grounds clean.

On the last Sunday Mass of May 2026, La Salle Boys' Secondary School - Rumbek concluded the activities for the commemoration of the Founder's Day by cake cutting for the Founder's Day and for welcoming Senior One students to the school.

La Salle Boys' Secondary School Commemorates Founder's Day in Rumbek

La Salle Boys' Secondary School has embarked on a three-day commemoration of St. John Baptist De La Salle Founder's Day in Rumbek, Lakes State.

The commemoration consists of sports, traditional dances and speeches.

The activities which started this afternoon will end up on Saturday 30 May 2026 this week with speeches and other presentations.

La Salle Teachers and Brothers Vividly started Term 2 with a reflection on building a Strong School Culture that focuses on attitudes, values, behaviors and relationships that shape the daily habits and interactions among students and teachers.
