Winning the Bahr El Ghazal Counties League twice in a row is not just a record it is history that no county will easily achieve in the near future. This achievement is proof of Yirol West’s talent, discipline, and unbreakable spirit.

Unfortunately, what we witnessed in the recent game against Aweil West was not football at its purest. It was a game marred by bias, poor judgment, and a technical committee that failed to uphold the very rules that govern the sport we all love. The central referee and his assistants overturned the rightful results of the toss, favoring the side with the majority of Aweil West supporters an act that directly undermined the fairness of the match. Such decisions destroy the integrity of competition.

The bitterness does not stop there. It has become evident that Yirol West is hated by many counties in this tournament not because of wrongdoing, but because of our dominance, discipline, and unmatched success. To those who harbor this unnecessary hatred, let it be known: Yirol West’s success story is written in hard work, not favoritism.

As sons and daughters of Yirol West, we stand firm in defending the dignity of our team. To the technical committee of the BCPT, your bias has been exposed, and history will remember how you failed to protect fairness and justice in football.

For this reason, and in defense of our pride, I strongly propose that Yirol West Football Team reconsider its participation in the Bahr El Ghazal Counties League. A tournament that cannot guarantee fairness does not deserve the presence of a team that has already proven itself as a true champion.
