Authorities decline to name “well-known individual” who kept Juba Hyena

Wildlife authorities have declined to disclose the identity of a person who had been keeping a hyena that was recently spotted roaming in Juba, saying the individual is “well-known” but cooperated with officials and voluntarily surrendered the animal.

Juba hyena set for relocation to Bandingilo after days in city custody

The Director General of Wildlife at the Ministry of Wildlife Conservation and Tourism says a hyena recently spotted roaming in Juba will be relocated Saturday to Bandingilo National Park following a delay caused by technical challenges.
