Following the recently announced September workshop, GLEXCON is pleased to announce a new Crisis Management Workshop for October 2026.

This is a 2-day practical workshop designed for operational managers responsible for personnel, programmes and organisational continuity, as well as NGO staff, humanitarian personnel, security and operations teams, corporate personnel, and other professionals working in challenging environments.

The workshop will focus on practical crisis management skills and realistic South Sudan scenarios, including:

Recognising emerging crisis indicators
Activating and managing a Crisis Management Team (CMT)
Making decisions with incomplete information
Managing kidnapping, detention and missing personnel
Responding to elections, unrest and political deterioration
Applying crisis trigger points
Deciding when to restrict, suspend, hibernate, relocate or evacuate
Managing crisis communications and stakeholders
Maintaining crisis logs and decision records
Protecting people while maintaining essential operations
Practising through realistic South Sudan scenarios
