The beauty of science is that it can acknowledges its limitations, admit to unknown and being open to correcting mistakes despite the vast knowledge it consistently acquires. This show that science is an ongoing process of learning and discovery. It uses evidence to support its ideas and is always open to changing those ideas when new evidence comes up.

Unlike other methods of finding truth, which often claims to know everything and doesn't change its ideas even if there is evidence based on new information. They continues to sticks to one absolute claim without admitting errors or uncertainties. This is why science is better.

MISTAKES IN SCIENCE ARE NATURALLY PART OF THE SCIENTIFIC PROCESS.

Most people seem not to grasp that when science makes mistakes, it corrects them, making it more reliable than other methods for uncovering truths about nature. The good thing about science is that it acknowledges its gaps. Scientists can be wrong at times, but that's the essence of science, forming theories, testing them, and revising or replacing them. Despite occasional errors, science usually proves accurate. Flawed hypothesis or theories help us better comprehend the world, leading to advancements like the internet, satellite communications, new medical treatments, and support for scientific principles.

In science, errors are normal, but accuracy and reproducibility are crucial. Scientists always assess their work critically, recognize limitations, and aim for betterment. Making and learning from mistakes isn't just okay in science, but can also essential for advancement. Viewing failure as a chance to grow enhance research and knowledge. Acknowledging errors grow transparency and rigor in scientific studies. Scientists honestly share their discoveries, including any mistakes or surprises faced during the process. This could lead to further test and investigation of the process.

In summary, science is based on evidence and observation. Scientists gather data through experiments, observations, and other methods, and then use this data to form theories and explanations about the natural world. These theories are tested and retested, and if they are found to be consistent with the evidence, they are accepted as true within the scientific community. Over time, as new evidence emerges, scientific theories can be refined or even replaced. Whenever mistakes emerge, they become a normal part of the scientific process, learn from them and even gain more understanding. This helps scientists to improve their knowledge and discover new things. They contribute to our understanding and knowledge growth.

This quote perfectly sums up the flawed logic behind the appeal to ignorance fallacy and its related god of the gaps fallacy. It’s human nature to want explanations. But just because science hasn’t explained something (yet!) doesn’t mean we can fill the void with baseless assertions.

Unfortunately, these unfounded assertions are often accompanied by an attack on science itself, claiming it's "closed-minded" and “arrogant” for not accepting their explanation — despite the lack of evidence.

Also, just because science doesn’t know everything doesn’t mean it doesn’t know anything, and yet, when those findings conflict with important beliefs, we rationalize and deny to avoid changing our mind.

Science’s humility to admit what it doesn’t know is a feature, not a bug. It’s also what drives progress. Filling in the gaps of our knowledge with magical explanations won’t help us learn.

If “Free Will” is used as an explanation for the flaws and imperfections in Humanity, then why an all-knowing and all-powerful deity would choose to create beings who have the ability to make choices that go against his will?

If god is all-knowing, he must have known in advance what choices Humans would make, and if he is all-powerful, he could have easily prevented those choices from being made.

Doesn't these instances seems to contradict the concept of free will, as it implies that our choices are predetermined or controlled by a higher power? This suggest that free will is difficult to reconcile with determinism and it often leads to several issues like the problem of evil, the problem of luck etc.

In this age of fake news and alternative facts, only skepticism can helps us distinguish between what is true and what is not.

People need to develop logical and critical thinking skills. It's an important part of learning and enlightenment. We have to question premise or assumptions, seek out multiple perspectives, and think critically about the information we receive.

If we constantly keep doing so, we can become more effective problem-solvers and make informed decisions that benefit ourselves and others. Even uneducated can learn critical thinking, not the educated one alone. This is why many adults, despite their educational background, frequently accept myths without engaging in critical thinking.

Many theists often link atheism to concepts like evolution and the Big Bang. Some even expect atheists to provide answers about evolution and Big Bang because they do not believe in god. They assume that if atheists don't believe in a god, then they should have answers about the universe and life.

This is mistake theists often do. Being an atheist does not mean we have all the answers about theological or scientific questions, including how the world began or how evolution functions. It simply means that we are not convinced by the claim that gods exist due to lack of compelling evidence. Those who think that Evolution or Big Bang has something to do with Atheism are woefully uninformed.

The main challenge now is that theists are unable to provide evidence for the existence of their god. They've been trying to provide evidence for thousand of years and none of them come up with actual concrete proof or evidence. That is the crux of our debate. Without concrete proof/evidence, atheists will continue to exist.

It's funny that some Christians don't follow the rules in their holy book. You can't say you believe in the Bible and only do what you want from it based on your own interpretation/cultural beliefs.
