The Pojulu Community Cultural Festival 2026 has officially announced its Organizing Committee leadership today.

Appointed Leaders:
1-Chairman: Jimmy Samson Kwaje
2-Deputy Chairman: Sporta Yasin
3-Secretary General (SG): Nelson Kwaje
4-Assistant SG: Batali Moses
5-Treasurer: Kiden Sarah

The community leadership congratulates the new team and calls upon all sons and daughters of Pojulu to offer full support as preparations for the festival continue.

REPORT OF THE FIRST MEETING OF GUALLA COMMUNITY SONGS RESOURCE MOBILISATION COMMITTEE

Meeting: First Meeting of the Gualla Community Songs Resource Mobilisation Committee

1. Introduction
The Gualla Community Songs Resource Mobilisation Committee held its first official meeting today at Digital Hotel. The meeting was convened to lay the foundation for mobilising resources to support the Gualla Community Songs initiative.

2. Attendance

The meeting was attended by 9 members out of the 15 committee members. Although not all members were present, the meeting proceeded successfully.

3. Agenda of the Meeting

The main agenda of the meeting was to discuss and agree on the modalities for mobilising resources for the Gualla Community Songs project.

4. Deliberations

Members engaged in constructive discussions on how to mobilise resources in an organised, inclusive, and community-based manner. It was agreed that resource mobilisation should involve various groups of people within the Gualla Community.

5. Resolutions
After thorough deliberations, the committee finalised the resource mobilisation approach by categorising the Gualla Community into the following groups:
• Gualla Community Songs Resource Mobilisation Committee
• Gualla Community Leadership
• Gualla Youth Association leadership in Juba
• Gualla Youth Association leadership in Bor
• Gualla Youth Association leadership in Nimule
• Gualla Community Intellectuals
• Gualla community Members of Parliament (MPs) in national government
• Gualla Community Professors (Profs)
• Nyiir-diar
• Wët ke nyïïr
• Gualla Youth
• Gualla Women
• Nyiir ke Guelleei
• Gualla Friends

These categories were unanimously adopted as the framework through which resources will be mobilised.

6. Conclusion

The meeting successfully achieved its objective of establishing clear modalities for resource mobilisation. Members expressed commitment to engaging all the identified categories to ensure the success of the Gualla Community Songs project. The meeting concluded with appreciation to all members who attended and contributed.
