Jebel Kujur

Jebel Kujur is the mountain on the outskirts of Juba in South Sudan. There are around thirty routes. #jebel_kujur

The climbing mostly takes place on one of the largest granite cliffs just below the Jebel's summit.

is a mountain located on the outskirts of Juba Town to the west, standing at an altitude of 684 meters above sea level. The mountain range is a beautiful sight towards sunset as it looks as if the sun is actually resting on one of the peaks. Some even try to evoke a feeling of mystery around Jebel Kujur, pointing out that it looks like a person laying down ?

Getting There coming weekend?

Look for on Google maps. Continue south on the Juba Bypass road for about 600 meters, turn right and maneuver up the rocky hill. It is about a 20 minute walk up hill from here.

The rock face can be identified by looking at the photo below and locating the two large trees at the crag and from there you could view your beautiful capital city from the top 👍🏿
