Today United Nations OCHA Somalia has visited the current response implementation sites in . They were monitoring our project implementation progress and beneficiaries and community engagement.

WARDO distributed sanitation tools for the El Nino floods affected IDPs in Baidoa, this will contribute to the draining and removal of stagnant water and solid wastes due to the floods. We always focus on the improvement of sanitation and hygiene situations for the vulnerable people. Thanks to Wash Cluster Somalia United Nations OCHA Somalia UNICEF Somalia

Today our community hygiene promoters visited the camps of Afuf Adan Takoy, Ceeldheery, Watagashang, Dayma-dhere in Bidoa and helped the community to make all the cards are up to date by going door to door especially where we have the water site that is Afuf Adan Takoy.

They made awareness to the people about hygiene promotion and enlightened the importance of good hygiene.

They educated the residents about the amount of water they should be given per day by the water point leader.

They also encouraged to give better chance to the elderly, sick and those who are disable they are not able to compete with others.

We conducted three days training in Baidoa, Southwest State of Somalia for water quality monitors, treatment and free residual testing methods for water points mass chlorination campaigns.
Thanks to (SHF) United Nations OCHA Somalia Somalia and Wash Cluster Somalia for funding this training. Wardo is committed in improving the lives of the vulnerable communities.

Up to 80 micro-enterprises and small businesses completed a 40-day capacity-building training program in with grants, expressing heartfelt appreciation to UNDP in Somalia Somalia NGO Consortium funding the project and WARDO for its implementation.
