A somber atmosphere has taken over the Dorcoty community following the discovery of a local woman’s passing. The woman, identified as Bintu, is believed to have passed away in her home on Thursday, March 26, 2026.

Her passing went unnoticed for two days until Saturday, March 28. A concerned neighbor, anxious to know if Bintu was simply away or had traveled, insisted that community members check on her.

After receiving no response, they made the difficult decision to force entry into the home. Upon entering the room, they discovered Bintu’s body, which had already begun to show signs of decomposition.

The sudden nature of her death and the delay in its discovery have left the neighborhood in mourning.
