At St’ Michael’s Hall at the Eastern Part of Freetown, Thimzy Events delivered another Masterpiece decoration.

This is a 4 tier married cake made by Thimzy Events, highly nutritious, the cake is a moisturize chocolate cake with fondant coating.

When Thimzy Events designed this customary marriage setting, the goal was not just to create a beautiful space, but to tell a story of culture, love, and tradition rooted in Sierra Leone heritage.

Every detail was carefully chosen to reflect the warmth of an African home and the beauty of customary marriage traditions. From the woven baskets and traditional prints to the bamboo backdrop and raffia touches, each element speaks of unity, respect, family, and togetherness. The natural greenery and earthy tones were added to create a calm and welcoming atmosphere, symbolizing growth, peace, and a fruitful union.

The sitting area was intentionally placed at the center to represent the joining of two families, while the handcrafted cultural pieces remind us of the importance of preserving our identity and celebrating our traditions with pride.

Through this decor, Thimzy Events transformed a simple space into a cultural experience, one that honors love, heritage, and the timeless beauty of African customary marriage.

This traditional cake is more than a beautiful design, it is a reflection of the rich cultural heritage of Sierra Leonean customary marriage traditions. Inspired by the symbolic calabash, the white cloth, and the kola nuts, the cake represents unity, purity, acceptance, prosperity, and the joining of two families in love and respect.

The calabash signifies hospitality and togetherness, while the white covering symbolizes peace and honor within marriage. The kola nuts, a powerful cultural symbol in Sierra Leonean traditional ceremonies, represent goodwill, agreement, and the strengthening of family bonds.

Through this masterpiece, Thimzy Events continues to blend creativity with culture, preserving tradition through modern artistry and elegant celebration design.
