Athlete Profile – Adama Rashidatu Sesay

Adama Rashidatu Sesay is a student of CODE College of Digital Excellence) and dedicated Sierra Leonean judoka competing in the Women's –57kg weight category. Through years of hard work, discipline, and perseverance, she has established herself as one of Sierra Leone's leading female judo athletes.
Adama is a multiple-time national gold medalist and a Senior National Gold Medalist, consistently demonstrating excellence at the national level. She has represented Sierra Leone in numerous national championships, including the National Boxing Day Sports Competition, as well as various national training camps that have contributed to her technical and competitive development.

On the international stage, Adama proudly represented Sierra Leone at the All African Games in Accra, Ghana, gaining valuable experience against some of Africa's top judokas. She also competed at the African Open in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, where she delivered an outstanding performance and earned the Silver Medal (2nd Place) in the –57kg category, marking one of the biggest achievements of her career.

Following her international success, Adama returned home and continued her impressive form by winning the 2026 Japan Embassy Judo Championship, securing the Gold Medal and reaffirming her position among Sierra Leone's top judokas.

In addition to her achievements on the tatami, Adama serves as the Commissioner for the Sierra Leone Judo Gender and Equality Commission, where she advocates for equal opportunities and encourages greater participation of women and girls in judo.

Now, Adama prepares to represent Sierra Leone at the Commonwealth Games, carrying with her the hopes of her nation and the experience gained through years of dedication, sacrifice, and international competition. She remains committed to competing with honor, respect, and determination while inspiring the next generation of athletes to believe in their dreams.

Headline: A Milestone Moment! Celebrating the College of Digital Excellence (CODE) Matriculation Ceremony 🎓✨
On Friday, 3rd July 2026, the College of Digital Excellence (CODE) community came together for a truly unforgettable 4th Matriculation Ceremony, hosted at the Choithram International School (CIS) auditorium!
We officially welcomed 350 extraordinary new students across both our Congo Cross (Western) and Wellington (Eastern) campuses as they take their first steps toward shaping the future of technology and innovation in Sierra Leone.
With over 150 parents, guardians, and supporters filling the auditorium with pride and excitement, the energy was unmatched.
We were deeply honored to have the Mayor of Freetown, Yvonne Aki-Sawyerr, join us as our Chief Guest. The Mayor shared powerful words of wisdom, encouraging our new cohort to cultivate discipline, integrity, and perseverance, and to use their digital education to become the next generation of innovators and entrepreneurs.

Our 4th Annual Outing – 2026 🌊✨

On 18th April 2026, CODE – College of Digital Excellence proudly hosted its 4th Annual Student Outing at the beautiful No. 2 River. It was a day filled with connection, collaboration, and celebration as students and staff from both our Eastern and Western campuses came together outside the classroom.

This outing wasn’t just about fun—it was about building relationships, strengthening networks, and promoting mental wellness. Moments like these reflect our commitment to holistic, 360-degree learning, where growth goes beyond academics.
