With support from Youth Exchange and Study (YES) GYSD, we continue providing vital healthcare services to hard-to-reach communities, especially for pregnant women, through our Mobile Health Clinic. Alongside healthcare, we also deliver digital literacy education to empower women and communities with the skills needed for a better future. These services are essential because they save lives, break barriers, and open new opportunities. Our work contributes directly to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, including Good Health and Well-being (SDG 3), Quality Education (SDG 4), Gender Equality (SDG 5), and Reduced Inequalities (SDG 10). Together, we are ensuring no woman or child is left behind.

🌸 With support from UNFPA Sierra Leone, our DigitalHER Health and Entrepreneurship Training in Bo is transforming lives! After completing the training, trainees are applying their skills by making dignity kits, exploring gara tie-dye as a creative livelihood opportunity, and writing funding proposals to address challenges in their communities.

Through education, mentorship, and continued support, these young women are becoming changemakers—empowering their families, uplifting their communities, and creating pathways to economic independence. This ripple effect lays the foundation for a more equitable future. ✨

🌟 Turning Data into Action for Healthier Communities! 🌟

At Aion Health SL, our mission is to improve lives. Last month, we trained our volunteers as SaniTrackers to collect real-time sanitation data using the SaniTrack public health surveillance system, equipping them to monitor public spaces where waste poses the greatest health risks.

This month, we are already seeing the impact — dozens of data points collected across Bo are helping Bo City Council, health institutions, and schools make informed decisions. By linking community action with technology, we are showing how evidence-based learning and local innovation can solve real community challenges and strengthen public health systems.

Through these efforts, we are driving climate-smart health solutions, improving waste management, and creating safer environments for children, pregnant women, and vulnerable groups. Together, we are turning data into action for healthier, more resilient communities. 🌍✨

🌍 After our SaniTracker information session, we are excited to see volunteers stepping up to power SaniTrack — a smart tool for climate health, waste management, and public health in Bo City.

📍 SaniTrack supports Bo City Council, DHMT-Bo, NGOs, volunteers, and stakeholders by providing real-time data (GPS, photos, and reports) to guide quick and effective public health action.

Through Aion Health SL, we initiated DigitalHer Health and Entrepreneurship at KonFam Garage — supported by UNFPA Sierra Leone and the Ministry of Youth. Together with health professionals, we are working to improve lives and reduce maternal and infant mortality — a shared effort with government and partners.
