Green Education through Sports Mapping Project Blending of Sports with Environmental Education is slowly spreading in Europe: what is still needed, and what promising or good practices are emerging?

Another activity we organized in 🇸🇰 was paintball. It was attended by participants from 10 countries from different parts of the world and balls of different colors flew through the space just as people of different nationalities, religions or cultures travel the world. And with this event, we helped these people to connect and make friends with each other and fight radicalisation 💪

Our wish from SPEAR Team - be merry and happy not only during the Christmas and New Year's Eve 🥰, although more than usually now 🥳

We organized canoe trip in 🇸🇰 20 people coming from various countries, cultures, background...got chance to get know and in this way to fight radicalization 🤜 too. We will be adding more pictures next days 😍

🙋‍♀️ Curious what is this project about ❓

The project partners will achieve this objective by creating a network of 16 ambassadors that will reach young people in events at the local level using the Education Through Sport (ETS) methodology. The ambassadors will constitute a transnational network for sport education against radicalisation strengthening the links between project partners and external stakeholders.
A comprehensive research will provide the European state-of-the-art about current practices to prevent radicalisation in sport and through sport education. Afterwards, the ambassadors will realise a set of awareness-raising actions online and sport events.

Project objectives:

- Prevention of and fight against violence and intolerance
- Social inclusion in and through sport
- Research on radicalisation and identification of best practices about countering radicalisation in and through sport.
- Development of a training format to empower ambassadors in reaching out to young people using the ETS methodology.
- Creating a network of ambassadors.
- Piloting of the training format
- Awareness-raising activities: Online campaign, sport actions with young people
