The story of Social Problem, is the story of four human beings who create and play music. In this problematic time, where you cannot trust anything you read or hear, their music serves as an outlet with which they can express themselves and impact other people. A lot of it can be ceased with people starting to look outside of their ego zones. To allow oneself to think critical in this time of sens
ory overload seems harder than ever. Moreover, to be open to new points of view seems to be one of the biggest difficulties of us humans. It is not about changing everything about us, but rather allowing ourselves to be accepting things from other perspectives and coming to our own conclusions. A big part of the band mentality is that every person can become more than they think and that one person can make a significant difference in this world. When you change yourself, you change the world. At the end of the day, we strive to make music that we like and enjoy. We are on a journey to grow and explore our lives and the ones of others. Although the band name emphasizes the problem of humanity as a whole, it also allows us the opportunity to identify as problems in an irony-shaded way. This part is the wholesome part of our being. If you stare into the abyss long enough, the abyss, stares back at you. It is easy to be consumed by all the various things in this world. This is why a balance of all things is crucial. Therefore, the other side of the band name indicates the free way of living. Free from the social construct and its one way streets. It is the always-present side of our name but one cannot be without the other. The meaning is rather a reflection of the person thinking about it than our statement of who we are. There is a constant balance of light and dark in the universe. There is always a silver lining in a dark cloud, and the sunlight does fade in the evening just to shine again in the morning. This entropic pattern of folding black and white while living and learning is what the band is essentially about. In the end, we all are the problem … and the solution.

Zgodba o skupini Social Problem, je zgodba o štirih ljudeh, ki ustvarjajo glasbo. V tem problematičnem času, ko človek ne moremo verjeti ničemur, kar prebere ali sliši, njihova glasba služi kot medij, s katerim se lahko izražajo in vplivajo na druge ljudi. V tem svetu je stalno prisotno trpljenje. Veliko tega se lahko preneha, če ljudje dvignemo pogled izven svojega ega. Dovoliti, da v tem času informacijske preobremenjenosti mislimo kritično, se zdi težje kot kadarkoli prej. Poleg tega zgleda, da je odprtost do drugih stališč ena večjih težav ljudi. Ne gre za spreminjanje osnovnih načel ljudi, temveč za to, da si dovolimo misliti o stvareh iz drugih perspektiv in priti do lastnih zaključkov. Velik del miselnosti skupine je, da lahko vsak postane več, kot si misli, ter da lahko ena oseba naredi bistveno razliko za celoten svet. V osnovi si prizadevamo ustvarjati glasbo, ki jo imamo radi in v kateri uživamo. Smo na poti rasti in raziskovanja našega življenja ter življenja drugih. Čeprav ime skupine poudarja problem človeštva kot celote, nam omogoča tudi, da se pod okriljem ironije opredelimo kot problemi. Ta del je blagodejen del našega bitja. V današnjem svetu se z lahkoto izgubimo v vsem kar ponuja. Ravnovesje vseh stvari je zato ključnega pomena. Druga plat našega imena tako označuje svoboden način življenja, brez družbene kletke in njenih načrtanih poti. Ta stran je vedno prisotna, saj ena ne more biti brez druge. Pomen imena je tako prej odsev osebe, ki razmišlja o tem, kot pa naša izjava o tem, kdo smo. V vesolju je konstanten boj med svetlobo in temo. Sonce zaide le, da lahko zjutraj spet vzide. To prepletanje črne in bele, medtem ko živimo in se učimo, je bistvo skupine. Na koncu koncev smo vsi problem … in rešitev.
