No drilling. No upcycling. Just me keeping one for myself. 🫶

Some plates carry more than a pattern.
She thrifted these as a student in the Midwest, fifteen years ago. Vintage souvenir plates likely made in the 1950s or 60s as decals were probably hand applied, sitting just slightly off-centre. She's moved around a lot since then. These are some of the only things she's kept from that chapter of her life.
Now they hold mooncakes and local favourites (rum balls!) at gatherings that have nothing to do with the Midwest.
Her words: "They will be a great conversation piece as I deploy them for tea and kueh parties!"

Retro Kulture is coming to Kapo Factory on 4 October, and I'll be there!
I will be making new whimsical clocks & tiered stands. Will also be destashing my vintage tea sets, and maybe a few vintage bags and brooches too.
