Happy 40th birthday to our legendary bass player Hampus!

Today marks a historic moment. Not because you turned 40… but because archaeologists worldwide have finally confirmed that Hampus is now officially old enough to be considered an artifact himself.

After years of professional experience digging up ancient bones, pottery, and forgotten civilizations, Hampus has now reached the exciting stage of life where he can simply look in the mirror for research material.

When he’s not carefully brushing dirt off 2,000-year-old objects, he’s at home carefully brushing Cheeto dust off his keyboard while yelling at 12-year-olds in shooter games and “strategically hydrating” with his 7th beer of the evening. True dedication to science.

Fun fact: the only thing older than the ruins he excavates is his reaction time in PC shooters.

Here’s to 40 years of questionable decisions, loud bass lines, dusty holes in the ground, and enough beer to carbon-date your liver.

This year this little gem is celebrating 20 years, released on Alcoholic Records recorded at SR produced by Thomas Eriksson and artwork by Tim and Daffy.

At the time the crashdiet singer and guitarist, David Hellman, had signed to universal records and I asked him since we were very close to record a sleezy guitar solo for the song ‘My City’ which he agreed upon even though he was warned by their record company.

I had a portable 16 track recording device at home so he came in and laid down the solo doing just one take. Sadly he passed away just a few month later, so for me personally that song is my favorite.

“My City”

Very sad to hear about the passing of Lee, for us he was a good friend and also one of the first to help us play in the the U..K. Will surely be missed and our thoughts goes to his family and all of his punk family.

2003, we did our first “proper” tour in Germany. and half way into the tour we decided that like every cool band we should have our band name on our van (Peter Punks van to be honest) , said and done we found some nice looking green tape and began to create the best looking “logo” mankind ever seen, the fact that we ran out of green tape and also space doesn’t really matter when you’re young, drunk and on top of the world.

Tyvärr så har spelningen den 7/3 blivit inställd vilket givetvis är väldigt tråkigt.
Vi kör ju en liten tävling om 2 T-shirts och 2 biljetter till denna spelning och som ska avslutas nu på fredag.

Och ett löfte är ett löfte, så nu på fredag så drar vi vinnaren och T-shirts samt 2 biljetter kommer ordnas.

När det kommer till biljetterna så kommer dessa två vara giltiga till kommande spelningar som klubben har, och ni kan då välja vilken ni vill gå på.

Så inför spelningen den 7/3 i Eskilstuna har vi bestämt att lotta ut två biljetter samt två Fornicators T-shirts.
