Fascinating fascia

Fascia is the foundation of all human movement. Its function determines the degree to which you can move without encountering restriction. This video should make you understand why proper fascial hydration is critical for mobility. If hydration is inaccessible to the tissues, they become dry and sticky, restricting movement. This is THE root cause of movement dysfunction. Fascia holds the human body together and defies gravity by stabilizing itself through the equilibrium of mechanical stresses across the entire network. In other words: No part of the system fundamentally works in isolation—each part requires cooperation with its neighboring structures to achieve the most efficient movement. On top of that, the building block of this system is collagen, a semiconductive protein encapsulated by water. The water within the system naturally carries a net negative charge. Combine these elements, and you have a body-wide bioelectric highway capable of transmitting information at the speed of light. Who designed that? Nature? God? Aliens? I don’t know.
