An udderly impressive result 🐄🏆

AustAsia Group, one of DeLaval China’s key customers, has exceeded an annual average milk yield of 15 tonnes (15,000 kg) per cow – widely recognised as world‑class in large‑scale dairy production.

This milestone was achieved at AustAsia’s Farm No. 8 in Chifeng. Built in 2020, the farm relies on DeLaval’s milking and cooling solutions, which play a central role in daily operations. It operates two 80‑stall DeLaval PR3100HD rotary systems alongside a parallel parlour, supported by DeLaval Harmony™ clusters with Clover™ liners, MPC680 milking points, FI7 flow indicators, and a compact chiller CWC120.

This performance reflects steady progress and continuous improvement. Milk yield has increased from around 43 kg per cow per day in the early stages to an average of 47.5 kg per lactating cow by the end of 2025.

As production grew, so did the demands – with zero tolerance for downtime and a strong focus on stability and cow comfort. A structured, full‑lifecycle maintenance approach ensures stable operation even under high‑yield conditions.

Dealer Days has been going full force at DeLaval headquarters this week – and the energy has been fantastic.

A big focus has been on truly understanding our solutions – not just in theory, but by seeing them in action at Hamra Farm, alongside talks from senior leadership and factory tours. This has been combined with open discussions where dealers can ask questions, exchange ideas, and learn from each other.

Because ultimately, it’s about our dealers and the farmers they support – working together to help make sustainable food production possible.

And of course, it wouldn’t be a full week together without a bit of sightseeing. From castles and Viking museums, to exploring the smallest street in Stockholm and a boat ride, it’s been a great way to experience the city together.

We’re just getting started 🎉

Yesterday was day one of Dealer Days at DeLaval – and it was a fantastic opening.

We welcomed more than 450 dealers from across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) to DeLaval’s headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden.

Day one was all about coming together – meeting face to face, reconnecting, and getting to know the people behind the work. The evening then stepped things up with a welcome dinner that really set the tone: a great atmosphere, great conversations, and a chance to celebrate being together in person.

Today, the focus shifted slightly to insights and perspectives, with talks from Paul Lofgren, President & Chief Executive Officer; Jonas Hällman, Executive Vice President, Market Area EMEA; and Anna‑Pia Järnfors‑Dixner, Senior Vice President, Corporate Communications and Sustainability — sharing perspectives on our direction and opportunities ahead.

We also had the chance to explore more of Hamra Farm, including our new VMS barn – always a favourite with visitors.

It’s been great to meet so many of our wonderful dealers – we hope they're having a great time too.

In Alvaneu, Graubünden, Switzerland – in the heart of the Swiss Alps 🐄✨ – dairy farmers Kathrin and Andrea Accola have recently moved into a new barn, where they are expanding their free‑stall operation and adding a new storage facility. The setup also includes a DeLaval VMS™ milking robot, making day‑to‑day work more flexible 🙌

This beautiful barn was designed in collaboration with DeLaval Architecture – a team specialising in barns and farm facilities 🏗️

All of this in a truly special location – right beneath the world‑famous Landwasser Viaduct (UNESCO World Heritage Site) 📍🌄

We’re excited to welcome our EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) dealers to DeLaval headquarters in Stockholm next week for Dealer Days.🎉

Our dealers play a critical role on farm every day – improving performance, maintaining systems, and keeping operations running when it matters most. This is reflected in this year’s theme, Together for Tomorrow.

Through factory tours, strategy sessions and hands-on demos, the focus is on sharing knowledge, exchanging experience, and strengthening how we support farmers. Hamra Farm – our commercial farm in Tumba – will also play a key role throughout the week.

Bringing everyone together like this strengthens collaboration and helps ensure we continue to deliver real value on farm.🏆
