We are so excited to be selling our gorgeous Welsh Harlequin duck eggs at Smakbruket in Tomelilla, a wonderful deli/ cafe that showcases delicious farm to table produce. Swing by for a bite to eat and check out their wonderful selection. Big thanks to Marcu for having us as one of your vendors.

After spending a couple of days making new nesting boxes for the ducks they decided to lay one egg next to them. Silly ducks. I guess they didn’t like the paint job… 😅

When the weather gives you mountains of snow and you have a fluffy puppy that looks like a lion/bear🐻 you would be silly to not do a Simba… it’s the circle of life.
2026 have taken us by storm, quite literally. We are now dealing with the second snow storm within weeks.
Yesterday at dawn we started digging ourselves out of the house, shovelled our way to the cows to dig out their water and redo their bedding after the snow pierced through even the smallest crack into their shelter. ❄️
We felt pretty glad when it was all over and got some snuggles with the cows. And somehow all of the hard work feels totally worth it ❤️
6 days of snow storm and the ducks are blissfully unaware of the weather outside. I have to admit I’m rather jealous, would love to be inside quaking away at the local waterhole but unfortunately bad weather doesn’t stop the work on the farm, it only makes it 10 times harder…..😅

We had some beautiful winter days here on the farm. Ro our little puppy couldn’t be happier, she absolutely loves the snow. As the snow slowly melts away we are getting excited for the new season and it’s going to be pretty spectacular with lots of planting , building, ducklings 🐣and baby cows 🐮
