Our Story

The Swedish Institute Management Programme’s (SIMP) aim is to lead change for responsible leadership and sustainable business practices. The programme challenges traditional approaches of doing business and explores how business can become more people and planet focused in the global economy.

The programme is designed to maximize your learning experience, ceative thinking and how to lead value-driven change. Experts facilitate topics such as business impact on the environment, diversity and inclusion in the workplace as well as financial strategies for sustainable development. Complex business cases are explored and you receive tools to apply in your day-to-day work. Throughout the programme you develop your own initiative and apply learnings from the programme to continuously develop skills on how to make positive business impact.

By the end of the programme you are a part of a long-lasting network of business leaders working for a sustainable future.

The Swedish Institute is a public agency that promotes interest and trust in Sweden around the world. We work in the fields of culture, education, science and business to strengthen international relations and development.

General information
We would like you, as a visitor, to take the opportunity to comment on contents, articles, videos and images on the Swedish Institute’s digital and social media platforms. You should note that all contributions will be public documents. The comments function is provided and monitored pursuant to the Swedish Bulletin Board Systems Act (BBS): http://www.notisum.se/rnp/sls/lag/19980112.HTM. The act entails that the Swedish Institute must continuously remove posts which contain inciteful language, incitement to ethnic or racial hatred, child po*******hy, depictions of violence, or copyright-infringing material. Incitement to ethnic or racial hatred may include discrimination based on s*x, gender identification or expression, ethnic origin, disability, s*xual orientation and age. Any individual who makes a post which violates applicable law may be held personally liable.

Comments that violate any of these rules may be deleted. Commenters who continuously violate these rules may be blocked. Please note that comments that are posted here or any of our public digital channels are open to the public. In fact, all correspondence with a Swedish public authority is open to the public, which means that anyone, including the mass media, has the right to read it. This is stated in the Swedish Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act.
