In 2027, Liepāja will proudly become a European Capital of Culture 2027, bringing together an exciting programme of exhibitions, concerts, cultural experiences, and events for visitors from across Europe and beyond.

🔴 Zane Meldrāja. Project Manager at an Inbound Travel Agency in the Baltics “Baltic Incentive Travel”.

Born, raised and currently living in Rīga, Zane has had Liepāja in her heart for 25 years, as she is among those for whom belonging is beyond what it says in the birth certificate. Liepāja is a place of peace, a place of strength, and a source of inspiration on every journey and also in work, as she always includes Liepāja in the Baltic tours she plans. Zane tells the story of Liepāja internationally. As an ambassador of Liepāja 2027, she will be a bridge between the world and the City of Winds – with heart, competence, and passion.
