Healing Arts Scotland 2026 has officially begun 🎉

Kicking of in Aberdeen, launched with a day of panel discussions, keynote speakers, workshops, and creative wellbeing activities connected to the themes of Healing Arts Scotland 2026.

Aberdeen Day prioritised inspiration, connection and creativity, exploring how the arts can support health and wellbeing for individuals and communities in the North East of Scotland.

But we are talking here about human systems, and these systems are both out there and right here within us.” Over the course of three sessions, Peter Senge (MIT Sloan School of Management) shared his insights on systems thinking and learning within complex change processes

The event “Leading in Today’s Complexity” was organised in partnership with the IDG Foundation and ITAC. In this short summary video, Peter Senge, Mila A. (board member of the IDG Foundation) and Madeleine McGirk Rutherford (director of ITAC) present the key takeaways from these three special days.

Teaching Artistry in Action 2025! 🌟

What a day! ✨️

Last Tuesday, we gathered at the Royal Court Theatre in Liverpool for Teaching Artistry in Action 2025, the national symposium from . The Teaching Artistry in Action Symposium brings together artists, researchers, arts leaders, educators and community practitioners to explore the purpose, power and practice of artists who teach.

ITAC were delighted to collaborate on a day dedicated to understanding the purpose, power, and practice of artists who teach.

This event officially marked the launch of the ITAC England Hub, led by Curious Minds! 💙

The day was dedicated to the memory of our wonderful colleague Jude Bird.
