Last week, SIPRI's Gretchen Baldwin delivered a keynote speech at the residence of the Moroccan Ambassador to Sweden on 'Returning to the roots: Twenty-five more years of the Women, Peace and Security agenda'. Strengthening the military capabilities of EU🇪🇺 partner states, including by providing weapons, has become an important element of the EU’s approach to peace and security over the past five years. Today, SIPRI releases three publications that map military assistance provided by the EU and other external actors to states in the broader European neighbourhood.

These publications were realized in the context of the project ‘Safeguarding Common Interests: The EU’s Military Assistance to Partner Countries’, which is funded by Stiftung Mercator.
