From light airs in the Archipelago at the start, to 30 knots on the nose under two reefs and the J4, we’ve had it all in this year’s ÅF Gotland Runt race!
After a fast and fun sleigh ride from the south end of Gotland, we arrived back in Sandhamn at 5am this morning!
Currently looks like we finished 2nd in class and 5th over all!!! 🥈🏆🎉
Now it’s time to wind down in the spa!

The team are going well, now onto a watch system for the first night. Currently in 29th place out of 218 and 315nm to go. 🇸🇪

update:
After a lot of tricky conditions with very inconsistent breeze and having to navigate through Sweden’s many islands, we’ve nearly reached the end of the Archipelago!!
Form there on we’ll be heading south towards Gotland
Conditions on board are great, everyone is happy and having fun 🙂

Light wind practice race done, now it’s time for the real deal! The ÅF Gotland Runt Offshore race starts tomorrow morning sending us through the Archipelago our into the Baltic Sea, around Gotland and back!

We have arrived at the ÅF Gotland Runt Race Village! After quickly being lifted out of the water and having the hull cleaned, Kenny and Nick brought through the Archipelago right into the centre of beautiful Stockholm! 🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪
We’ll be here until the race start on Sunday, come say hi if you’re around!

Not our race, not our day.
First we started late after tearing our older mainsail on our way to the start line and having to return, then we broke our tuff luff in a big gust, forcing us to retire.
So no pretty pictures of us on the water today but CW PPope up the mast fixing things!
