Yesterday 20/3 we had our second workshop at ABF Malmö, this time with bone crafting.
Loads of people showed up which we are super grateful for, and we now have some more ideas about coming workshops. If there’s a type of workshop you’re interested in attending, please don’t hesitate to reach out and we’ll see if we can make it happen!
Thank you to everyone who attended and a big thank you Karin Stålberg who held it for us!

Just wanted to share this experimental archaeology field school with you. This is specifically for pottery, and will go through the whole process; from sourcing clay and preparing pastes, to firing and testing vessels in practice.
The field school is held in Cucuteni Iaşi in Romania, and participants are expected to pay for travel to and from as well as a 50€ participating fee. Food and lodging is included in the fee though, making it a little more affordable than many other field schools.
Last day to apply is May 15th, and the link is in the EXARC post.

Soon we will host more workshops, please keep an eye out for more both on the ABF site and for those who will be outside of ABF you have our newsletter (if you’re a member).
Thank you to everyone who came and participated!
