Last week, we had the pleasure of co-hosting an energizing Speed Networking Event together with , designed to connect students with professionals from across the healthcare and life science sectors.

The evening was packed with rapid-fire conversations, career inspiration, and authentic exchange — giving students the chance to explore real-world career paths in biotech, medtech, consulting, entrepreneurship, and beyond.

Last week, we hosted the seminar “Career in and beyond Academia – Career Seminar with Naturvetarna”, where students gained valuable insights into the Swedish life science job market. 💼🔬

Participants learned about labour market trends, highly sought-after skills among life science employers, and salary statistics across different levels of study. The seminar also included practical advice on how to build a strong CV profile and find their dream job. 📊🌱

✨ EVENT RECAP ✨

On April 10th, we hosted the Find Your Thesis Career Fair together with Medicon Village, giving students the chance to explore thesis opportunities in academia and industry. 🔬

Attendees connected with Acrivon Therapeutics, AstraZeneca, Capillon Analytics, Cirkulär, Ironic Biotech and ZymIQ Technology. They also met with Lund University research groups, including the Consiglio lab, the Lund lab, the Rasmusson lab, the Schmiderer lab, the Van Aken lab and the von Wachenfeldt lab.

We want to thank Medicon Village for a great collaboration and all exhibitors for sharing their work and engaging with the students! 👥

🎓 Event Recap: Mentorship Program Farewell Event 🎉

Last week, we celebrated the final chapter of this year’s Synapse Stockholm Mentorship Program with a heartfelt Farewell Event, marking the close of an inspiring mentorship journey.

We were delighted to welcome Viveca Karima Viso as our guest speaker, who concluded the program with an engaging session on networking. She guided both mentees and mentors through valuable insights and practical advice on how to build meaningful professional connections, approach networking with confidence, and carry these skills forward in their careers.

The event provided a space for mentors and mentees to reconnect, reflect on their shared experiences, and celebrate the growth, progress, and connections made throughout the program.

🌿During the Lund Sustainability Week, we hosted the seminar “Innovation Within Limits - A Symposium on Sustainable Biosolutions”, in collaboration with Novonesis.
