Most Toners are watery and feels unnecessary but I promise, they contain important ingredients that are great for hydrating, nourishing the skin and balancing the skins ph. Some toners contain active ingredients can also be used as second cleanser/treatment especially for folks with troubled skin who avoid oil cleaners.

Are essences necessary in a skincare routine? No. But does it make a difference? I think so, if you’re extra like me and needs a good push of hydration. Use an essence.

Double cleansing has improved my skin in every way. It’s great for mature, oily skin and for the girlies who wear lots of makeup, however, if you have acne prone skin, you might want to avoid cleansing balms.

Serums are a must in my skincare rituals and in my opinion they are necessary in every skincare routine for healthy and happy skin. Most serums are made to deeply hydrate or treat the skin in one way or another. I can live without them 😆

Exfoliating the skin 2-3 times a week is vital for skin regeneration, exfoliating helps to remove excess dead skin cells, clean out the pores and reveals fresh, new skin, especially for mature and oily skin and even for acne prone skin. There are lots of great products to choose from but a lot of them are also too harsh, so be careful to choose the right one if you have sensitive skin.

With the exception of Koreian sheet mask, face mask are my least purchased skincare product, I rarely buy them and when I do, I am almost always disappointed. Most of them are a wast of time and money. Just a few of them are great and really does what I expect them to do.
