When my son was in casts I used to put on adult socks over his casts when I changed the diaper to prevent the cast to become dirty.

Do you have any tips for the casting period?

My son always slept like an angel after a new cast had been put on. I have heard different explanations to this but I remember sitting down on a bench outside the orthopaedic clinic and just taking deep breaths of relief. Getting that half an hour to just hear the birds in the trees and smelling the dusty streets of Stockholm around me gave me so much strength to deal with the coming week.
How/when did/do you charge your batteries?

We are alot of clubfoot Moms that engage in our children's treatment but the dads are just as important. I know that my husband struggled alot with not being able to be as involved as me in our sons casting process due to the pandemic and him working he was shut out from coming in to the doctors office. That must be extremely hard.
So to all the clubfoot dads out their I drew this! I see you! 🥰

Part time wear, how does your child sleep at night? We still struggle but it's getting better all the time. Soon my son will be two and we're half way through treatment. Keep fighting! 🥰 👣
