Plastics started to become very popular in the second half of the 20th century. Since that time we’ve used an obscene amounts of plastic. Here’s something to think about: all of the plastic which we have produced has been burned into toxic gas or still exists today. Plastic does not biodegrade, it does not disappear. And dumping it out of sight it one of the worst things that is happening right now.
