আজ ১৭ই মার্চ,আমাদের জন্য গৌরবের এবং স্মরনীয় একটি দিন। বিশেষ করে সুদানের মাটিতে আমরা করোনা এলার্ম থাকা সত্ত্বেও জাতির পিতা শেখ মুজিবুর রহমানের জন্ম শত বার্ষিকী কিছুটা হলেও জাক-জমকভাবে করতে পেরেছি। সকালের পুষ্পস্তবক শেষে বিকালে এল ফাশের ক্যাম্পের কর্ণধার সম্মানিত DMS, UNAMID জনাব প্রেম জিত সিং (Prem Jeet Singh) কে দিয়ে বঙ্গবন্ধু ক্যাম্পের প্রবেশ তোড়ণ যার নামকরণ করা হয়েছে ''জয় বাংলা তোড়ণ" উদ্বোধন করা হয়। সন্ধ্যায় দারফুরের সকল সম্মানিত FPU কমান্ডারদের নিয়ে মুজিব বর্ষের কেক কাটা ও প্রীতিভোজ এবং সাংস্কৃতিক অনুষ্ঠান আয়োজন করা হয়। মুজিব বর্ষের লোগো সম্বলিত দৃষ্টিনন্দন ক্রেস্ট বিতরণ করা হয়। আমরা সবাই মিলে জয় বাংলা ধ্বনিতে পুরো ক্যাম্প মুখরিত করি। জয় হোক "মুজিব বর্ষ"।

BANFPU observed International Women's Day in Bangabandhu Camp and El fasher town with various countries ladies!

Tonight we conducted monthly welfare meeting with officers and forces in our "Bangabandhu Camp" at El Fasher Log base. Gave appreciation certificate with rewards.

Yes........we make the clean and healthy world.

Respected IGP sir received my UN best performance certificate. On behalf of my 140 persons team, I gave it.

Bangladesh Formed Police Unit camp in Sudan named after Bangabandhu This is for the first time that any camp of Bangladesh Formed Police Unit at UN Peacekeeping Mission has been named after Bangabandhu

Today visited a team in our newly named camp “Bangabandhu Camp”. This team from Office for Peacekeeping Strategic Partnership (OPSP), HQ, New York. They arrived today to El Fasher and team consist: Director of OPSP – Jai Shanker MENON (team leader); Staff member of OPSP – Ludovic Nicolas GRENOUILLON (team member); Staff member of OPSP – Seck POUYE (team member); Chief of Supply Chain Planning Section - Andrei VESSELOV (team member). We demonstrated house guard by lady platoon, showed our activities in a power point presentation. After that they inspected our camp.

At 19th November, Nyala South Darfur HQ was handover to GOS. BANFPU played a vital role in that ceremony. Current rotation done a great job, that’s why Ag Police Commissioner Dr Sultan Temuri gave best performance certificate to BANFPU Commander
