The Climate Promise Initiative Seychelles (CPIS), launched by the UNDP, provide necessary financial and technical support to the Republic of Seychelles to enhance its NDCs making them more ambitious and realistic, at the same time.

About the GCCA+ Component A
The aim of the GCCA+ Component A project is to contribute to the implementation of the Seychelles Climate Change Strategy by strengthening the climate change sector policy framework. The project, which is being funded by the EU, was kicked off in January 2018 and will continue until mid-2020. The project team is based at the Ministry of Environment’s Project Coordinating Unit at Le Chantier Mall. The team is working on climate policy, climate finance and capacity building, in collaboration with diverse sectors from government, the private sector and civil society. Climate change is everyone’s business!
