A major change has been announced to make religious travel smoother, more flexible, and more accessible for pilgrims around the world! 🌍🕋
The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has officially launched a brand-new multiple-entry Umrah visa. Valid for a full 365 days from the date of issuance, this new visa allows travelers to enter Saudi Arabia several times throughout the year.
Key details of the new visa system:
The Stay: Visa holders can stay in the Kingdom for a maximum cumulative total of 90 days across their various visits during the year.
Nusuk Requirements: To utilize the visa, pilgrims must purchase an approved service package from a licensed provider via the Nusuk platform for each individual visit. 📲
Package Duration: The duration of your selected package must not exceed the remaining days available on your 90-day visa limit.
Umrah Permits: Before arriving in Saudi Arabia for any visit, pilgrims are required to obtain an official Umrah permit through the Nusuk app. 🛡️
Deactivation/Reactivation: The visa automatically deactivates upon exiting the Kingdom and reactivates for your next trip once all standard regulatory and travel requirements are met.
Please note: The multiple-entry visa will be paused annually during the Hajj season (from the 1st of Dhu Al-Qi’dah until the 13th of Dhu Al-Hijjah) to streamline the flow of Hajj pilgrims.
This digital-first milestone aligns perfectly with Saudi Vision 2030 and the Pilgrim Experience Program, simplifying entry procedures and enriching the spiritual journey for worshippers globally. 🇸🇦🙌
