Huge congratulations to two of our incredible Year 6 students at our DQ campus, Ryan and Izzadean, who have officially achieved their Platinum Junior Duke Award! πβ¨
To mark this massive milestone, they enjoyed a well-deserved special breakfast with their Headteacher this morning. π₯π
Ryan and Izzadean have been consistently participating in the Junior Dukes Award programme since they were in Year 1, demonstrating real dedication and commitment to personal growth, resilience, and developing invaluable life skills. βΊ
To complete any level of the Junior Duke, each child must complete a selection of challenges. But it isnβt just about ticking off a list; itβs about building a foundation for life. By encouraging children to step out of their comfort zones from an early stage, it instills invaluable life skills
Ryan and Izzadean, you are fantastic role models for the entire BISR community. We are incredibly proud of you! π

Here is what our champions had to say about their strategy and how it felt to take home the win:"We split the test paper question based on our individual strengths. The questions we were unsure on, we had multiple people do them to ensure that we got the correct answer. We finished the test with 30minutes remaining and used that time to go through each question multiple times... When they announced our names we were pleasantly surprised.β "Overall, it was a fantastic experience that taught me the importance of teamwork, communication, and resilience. I am very grateful for this opportunity and proud to have represented our school." π€©πͺ
Congratulations to all the talented mathematicians who participated and represented their campuses so well! ππ
