I saw this picture, and it really made me realize how true leadership carries a heavy burden unseen by many. While faults are easy to spot, the challenges and sacrifices often go unnoticed. Let’s uplift our leaders with prayers and support, trusting that only God can guide them perfectly.

With a deeply saddened heart, I extend my heartfelt condolences on the passing of a towering scholar, a beacon of light, and one of the greatest treasures of our time — Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi. His transition marks the end of an era and the departure of a man whose life embodied knowledge, humility, sacrifice, and unwavering devotion to Allah (SWT).

Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi was not just a scholar; he was a spiritual father, a guide, a reformer, and an embodiment of prophetic character. His teachings spread far beyond the boundaries of Bauchi and Nigeria — they touched countless hearts across Africa and the Muslim world. He dedicated his entire life to ilm, zikir, da’awah, and the moral purification of the soul, leaving behind a legacy that generations will continue to benefit from.

As we mourn his passing, we also celebrate a life lived entirely for Allah. A life of simplicity, patience, wisdom, and service to humanity. A life that inspired millions to hold firmly to faith, compassion, and sincerity. His humility was a message, his words were guidance, and his existence was a blessing to us all.

On behalf of the ZMB Initiative and in my personal capacity, I pray that Allah (SWT) grants our beloved Sheikh Jannatul Firdaus, forgives his shortcomings, expands his grave, and rewards him with the light he spread throughout his lifetime. May Allah comfort his family, his students, the Tijjaniyya community, and the entire Ummah who mourn this irreparable loss.

Nigeria has lost a pillar. The Ummah has lost a guardian. Our hearts have lost a teacher.

Today is another defining moment for our great Local Government — a moment to choose progress, stability, and purposeful leadership. As you step out to vote, remember that your ballot is your power, and your decision will shape the future of our community.

Our choice is clear — Dr. Mustapha Jibril Alheri as Chairman and our dedicated councillors across all wards. They represent competence, inclusiveness, and the vision to build upon the transformational agenda of His Excellency, Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago.

Though I am far away performing the sacred rites of Lesser Hajj, my heart, prayers, and unwavering support remain with you and our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC). May Allah guide our decisions, bless our votes, and grant victory to the candidates of progress.

Let us come out peacefully, vote massively, and protect our mandate for a greater Chanchaga and a greater Niger State.

To My Good People of Niger State, Especially Chanchaga Local Government:

As our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), prepares for the forthcoming Local Government Elections, I have received several messages and kind concerns regarding my recent absence from public activities.

Let it be known that my absence is not out of disengagement, but due to a higher spiritual commitment — I am currently in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia performing the Lesser Hajj (Umrah).

From the sacred land, my prayers, goodwill, and full support remain firmly with our Governor, His Excellency Hon. Mohammed Umaru Bago, whose visionary leadership continues to inspire progress and transformation across Niger State.

I also reaffirm my unwavering support for the APC Flagbearers for Chanchaga Local Government, Dr. Mustapha Jibril Alheri and Hajiya Safiya Tanimu Nasidi, as well as all our councillorship candidates. I have had the privilege of working closely with our women leaders, community representatives, and youth groups under the ZMB Initiative, rallying massive support for the party’s success at the grassroots.

As I pray for a peaceful, credible, and victorious election, I am also praying for continuous success, stability, and divine guidance for our beloved state and its leadership.

Advanced Medical and Surgical Care Collaboration, Niger Government Partners Zenith Medical & Kidney Center

The Niger State Government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Zenith Medical and Kidney Centre Limited, one of Nigeria’s leading indigenous advanced medical, pharmaceutical, and laboratory services center.

The center, led by the Managing Director/CEO, Dr. Olatise Olalekan, is partnering with the state to provide residents of Niger State with easier access to a wide range of advanced quality medical and surgical care, ranging from kidney transplant services, open-heart surgery, radiological, pharmaceutical, and laboratory services, thereby bringing quality healthcare closer to home.

With this, the Niger State Government under Governor Umaru Bago is not only expanding access but also setting the pace for a healthier future where citizens no longer have to travel abroad or struggle to receive the medical attention they deserve.

This is another achievement under the Bago New Niger Agenda, demonstrating government’s commitment to quality healthcare, improved livelihood, and sustainable development for all.

The partnership will also cover medical research, exchange programs, and training with IBB Specialist and Teaching Hospitals in the near future.

Governor Bago’s declaration of a state of emergency in the health sector is not just mere words but is accompanied by actions.

I wish to sincerely commend the Farmer Governor of Niger State, His Excellency Hon. Mohammed Umaru Bago, for his visionary initiative in advocating the use of the prestigious game of Polo as a platform to provide scholarships for less privileged children in our society.

This noble step, as unveiled during the just concluded Governor’s Charity Polo Tournament organized by the Minna Polo Club, reflects the Governor’s consistent commitment to inclusive development and his deep concern for the future of children from disadvantaged backgrounds.

By pledging ₦50 million in support of this cause, His Excellency has once again demonstrated that leadership is not only about governance but also about creating opportunities that transform lives. This initiative will not only promote the game of Polo among the younger generation but will also serve as a sustainable avenue for educational empowerment across Niger State.

I also extend warm appreciation to the First Vice President of the Minna Polo Club, Mohammed Babangida, for his tireless dedication in promoting Polo nationwide and for supporting this charitable vision.

Indeed, the Governor’s action is a shining example of how sports can be a tool for social change, empowerment, and community development. I call on corporate organizations, institutions, and well-meaning individuals to key into this vision as part of their corporate social responsibility.
