Presided over by our hardworking President, Ma’am Pearl, the Executive Officers and Board of Directors gathered today via zoom to discuss the progress of Karunungan 3.0, Adopt-a-School program, membership updates, SEC registration, and upcoming activities and initiatives of PISTA.

With renewed purpose and empowered service, the organization continues to move forward in strengthening its mission and creating meaningful impact for the community. 💚

Twelve PISTA volunteers warmly shared their time, knowledge, and hearts during the 3rd learning session of Karunungan 3.0 last May 23 at the Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah. ✨

This initiative reflects the true beauty of PISTA — living out its mission of social transformation through service and education. By teaching basic reading, writing, and foundational skills to distressed OFW adult women and children, the volunteers continue to bring hope, learning, and compassion to our fellow kababayans. 📚

Shout out to our five young volunteers, Mari, Max, Marcus, Lemuel, and Lenlen, for guiding and engaging the children throughout the learning session. 💚

Our heartfelt gratitude as well to Kenta Sweet for generously sponsoring the food and supporting this meaningful outreach program. 🫶🏼

Through her leadership and advocacy, she has become an inspiring figure in marine conservation and environmental stewardship in the Philippines and beyond.

Her participation is especially timely as the global community celebrates the International Day for Women in Maritime on 18 May 2026, recognizing the invaluable contributions of women leaders in advancing marine conservation, sustainable oceans, and maritime excellence.
