Emotional intelligence (EI), is the capability of individuals to recognize their own emotions and those of others, discern between different feelings and label them appropriately, use emotional information to guide thinking and behavior, and manage and/or adjust emotions to adapt to environments or achieve one's goal(s)
Studies have shown that people with high EI have greater mental health, job performance, and leadership skills although no causal relationships have been shown and such findings are likely to be attributable to general intelligence and specific personality traits rather than emotional intelligence as a construct

ALARP vs ALARP vs SFAIRP
ALARP stands for "as low as reasonably practicable", and is a term often used in the regulation and management of safety-critical and safety-involved systems. The ALARP principle is that the residual risk shall be reduced as far as reasonably practicable. In UK and NZ Health and Safety law, it is equivalent to SFAIRP (So Far As Is Reasonably Practicable).

Have you done Arc flash risk assessment of your facility
OSHA's electrical standards are designed to protect employees exposed to dangers such as electric shock, electrocution, fires, and explosions.
Did you ensure the safe working environment?
Are you in compliance with OSHA and NFPA 70E?
Have you ever done the risk assessment of electric shock and arc flash?
Are you aware of hazard-prone severity in your plant at the event of arc flash?
Are you aware of the PPE levels to be taken against arc flash?
The most hazardous situations are when someone is working on or near energized equipment, the equipment doors may be open, working close to electrical components, conductors, and connections.
By performing this analysis, you will know the standard protective measures and precautions/preventions to be followed against arc flash for the safety of employees

Regulations in OSHA 29CFR 1910 Subparts, part of OSHA's General Industry regulations, discuss electrical safety. These regulations state that "Safety related work practices shall be employed to prevent electric shock or other injuries resulting from either direct or indirect electrical contacts." In general, employers have a number of responsibilities under this regulation:
Creation and documentation of a facility electrical safety plan with defined responsibilities
Documented training in electrical and arc-flash safety, for both electrical workers and any other workers who might be affected
Identification and analysis of arc flash hazards
Provision of adequate personal protection equipment
Placement of warning labels on equipment
Provision of proper tools for safe electrical work
Verification, through annual inspections, that individual employees are complying with established safe work practices

Tip of the Day: Calculating Fall Clearance Distance:
Using a Shock-Absorbing Lanyard and D-Ring Anchorage Connector
• First, add the length of the shock-absorbing lanyard (6 ft.) to the maximum elongation of the shock absorber during deceleration (3-1/2 ft.) to the average height of a worker (6 ft.).
• Then, add a safety factor of 3 ft. to allow for the possibility of an improperly fit harness, a taller than average worker and/or a miscalculation of distance.
• The total, 18-1/2 ft. is the suggested safe fall clearance distance for this example.
† NOTE: Should the shock-absorbing lanyard be used in conjunction with a cross-arm anchorage connector or other, the additional length of the anchorage connector must be taken into consideration
