Well that festive season wasn’t good…

It was INCREDIBLE!! 😅 And having taken a breather and some time to reflect, we can only thank each and every incredible person who has come to stay with us in 2025; shared their experience with us and trusted us to host them for their bucket list stay in Volcanoes National Park.

We LOVE what we do, we feel privileged to be able to do it and cannot wait to welcome our guests who have already booked in for 2026 & 2027. Preserving the authentic culture and spirit of Kinigi and its people is a key focus for the team here at Sambora. Kabatsi, our resident Inanga player will play for you around the fireplace or over dinner, giving a special insight into the local traditions and story telling ✨

Taking some time for you… unwind and truly relax into Sambora Sunday’s 😇 Spectacularly soothing massage, followed by a relaxing read in front of a gently crackling fire is how we like to do it. A lot of our guests get up super early to head into Volcanoes National Park to track Gorillas, so a massage that afternoon is probably one of the most perfect days you can get! Misty mornings in Volcanoes National Park.. We love this time of year here, the rolling mist and incredible deep greens of the ancient forests, the volcanoes rising endlessly all around you. A guest recently remarked to us, ‘I just cannot wait to get up there!’.. This is a place full of excitement and expectation, where you can find new parts of yourself.. we cannot wait to share it with you 🌿
