iDebate Rwanda gives students the tool to change their own world by teaching them how to think critically how to solve problems creatively and how to how impact their own society !! It was started in october 2012 by former debaters who plan on sharing the knowledge that they acquired in debate with their community.

Money habits start young 💡
Through the Money Makeover Challenge, iDebate Rwanda and BK Foundation are helping students build the knowledge needed to make smarter financial choices, from budgeting and planning to understanding investment opportunities.
Now, the 4th Cohort is ready to put those lessons into action.
May 23 marks the celebration of the 4th Cohort of the Money Makeover Challenge, where alumni reflect on a journey of financial growth, mindset change, and valuable life lessons.
From budgeting and money management to making smarter financial decisions, participants share how MMC has transformed the way they think about their future and financial independence.
Organized by iDebate Rwanda in collaboration with BK Foundation, the initiative continues to empower students with the knowledge and confidence to make smarter financial choices for the future.

For four days, students from Kenya and Rwanda gathered at the African Leadership University to challenge ideas, build confidence, and connect across borders.
And when the debates ended, the journey continued through Kigali and Rwanda.

Over 350 participants from more than 24 schools showed up, spoke up, and gave it their all.
Congratulations to our winners, your efforts truly stood out. And to everyone who did not take home a trophy, this is only the beginning. Every round was growth and every moment on that stage mattered.
This was more than a competition. It was about confidence, courage, and finding your voice.
