As we mark Kwibuka 32, the Liberian Community in Rwanda stands in solidarity with the people of Rwanda in remembrance of the lives lost during the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.

Today, we honor the memory of the victims, stand with the survivors, and reflect on the strength, resilience, and unity that continue to define Rwanda’s journey. From the hospitalization of our dear sister, through her passing, to the successful repatriation of her remains, your unity, compassion, and timely support demonstrated the true spirit of Liberian solidarity.

We especially recognize the family representatives, the University of Lay Adventist of Kigali Administration, the Repatriation Committee, and every member of our community who contributed in diverse ways. Together, we proved that even in grief, unity makes us stronger.

The leadership reaffirms its commitment to serving the community with diligence and compassion. We also encourage us all to reflect on the positive difference we can make when we come together in this same

we can continue to build a stronger and more vibrant Liberian Community in Rwanda.
