🎉 PFR End‑of‑Year Celebration – 23 Dec 2025 🎉
Today, the entire Prison Fellowship Rwanda family gathered at Fazenda, Nyarugenge for our annual end‑of‑year and New Year celebration! We opened with worship, introduced our projects, and enjoyed fun activities including football and volleyball.
We were blessed with powerful messages from Bishop John Rucyahana and Bishop Gashagaza Deo, who reminded us of PFR’s mission since 1996—to bring hope, healing, and restoration to prisons and communities across Rwanda.
👏 Congratulations to Mr. Semuhungu Gratien, our Employee of the Year 2025, for 15 years of excellent and safe service as a PFR driver!
We ended the day with dancing, joy, and a renewed spirit as we welcome 2026!
✨ Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

Yesterday 21 Dec 2025 was a day of hope at Rubavu Correctional Facility.
Prison Fellowship Rwanda Through The Child’s Journey (TCJ) Program, 20 children were finally able to embrace their 13 incarcerated parents—some for the first time in years.
One of the most touching moments was when a father reunited with his daughter, Ineza Naome, whom he last saw at age 2. She is now 10. Their tears, smiles, and long embrace said more than words ever could.
Parents shared that this visit was the best Christmas and New Year gift they could ever receive. It renewed their strength, restored their sense of purpose, and reminded them that healing and reconciliation are possible.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the Rwanda Correctional Services (RCS) and Rubavu Correctional Facility for their collaboration in making this beautiful day a reality. ❤️
