Amid growing progress in ecosystem restoration, one constant is clear: restoration starts with human capacity. Developing the competencies, technical expertise, and leadership needed to restore degraded landscapes is foundational to Restoration Education. Through collaboratively designed curricula and hands-on learning, learners connect scientific theory to practical implementation impact.

Landscape restoration extends beyond tree planting.
Comprehensive restoration efforts rebuild soil health, strengthen communities, enhance food security, and increase resilience to environmental challenges.
Through coordinated action, we can effectively restore our landscapes.

Land degradation threatens our future but it’s not inevitable. With smarter policies, youth leadership, indigenous trees, and climate smart farming, agriculture can restore land and strengthen food security.
