“Nothing for us, without us.”
Our Deputy Executive Director, Ariane Dusenge brought this slogan to life this Tuesday, welcoming 15 adolescent champions from diverse backgrounds for an interactive dialogue on their sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) experiences.
The session centered meaningful youth participation, creating a safe and supportive space for adolescents to freely share:
✅Their sources for SRH information,
✅The gaps and challenges they face,
✅And the opportunities to strengthen access to youth-friendly healthcare services.
The conversation reaffirmed our commitment to working with adolescents and young people as partners and to promoting youth-led approaches that shape programmes aligned with their needs and rights.

We have partnered with the Rwanda Bar Association to convene legal professionals for a 2-day in-depth exploration of how legal responsibility is established in medical and healthcare-related cases.
This specialized training equips lawyers to navigate complex health-related legal issues, strengthens their ability to advocate for patient rights, and enhances efforts to ensure accountability across the healthcare system.
The initiative brings together legal and medical expertise to foster a more just and responsive approach to health care.
