In partnership with Kayonza District, AMI has equipped 62 youth graduates from the Iwawa and Ngarama rehabilitation centres with toolkits to help them turn their vocational training into sustainable livelihoods. The support aims to help them put their acquired skills into practice and facilitate their reintegration into the community.

Today in Huye and Nyaruguru districts, the Hashtag Gulu delegation, accompanied by AMI Coordinator Bizimana Jean Baptiste, visited youth groups whose members graduated from rehabilitation centres and received toolkits from to support their transition from vocational training to livelihoods.
The delegation commended their progress and encouraged them to make the most of the opportunities ahead.

AMI is hosting a 5 day visit of a delegation of Hashtag, an NGO from Uganda/Gulu, led by Mrs Sharon, Eirene Suisse representative in Ouganda, for a learning visit focusing on youth welfare and development, peace promotion, unity and resilience.

AMI, in partnership with Huye District, through a friendly football match to raise awareness on drug abuse and youth delinquency in Tumba and Mukura Sectors.The game ended 0–0, with Tumba winning 4-3 on penalties.
