We were honored to host a delegation of 8 representatives from Petrobel and EGPC at our facilities in Russia. This visit celebrated the thriving partnership between Novomet and Petrobel, which has been growing strong since 2015.

The delegation explored our Moscow R&D Center, where they discovered our cutting-edge testing wells and R&D facilities. Our experts, 𝗗𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗶 𝗠𝗲𝗶𝘂𝘀, 𝗙𝗦 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗿, and 𝗠𝗼𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗡𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗿, 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿, provided an in-depth overview of:

For Novomet-Canada, 2023 marks their 10-year anniversary!

Starting from zero in a small shop in Devon, Alberta was no easy task. Over the years, the Canadian operation tripled the shop space and doubled the staff size. In 2017, Novomet-Canada started in-house VSD assembly. In 2019, a new Novomet service center was opened in Weyburn, Saskatchewan to better serve our Saskatchewan clients.

Small but very experienced team, the company’s commitment to learn, grow, execute, and lead the way to sustainable positive changes helped strengthen the team, empower a growth culture, and create long-term value for both the employees and the company.

The Novomet PowerSave technology reduces energy consumption by up to 30% which significantly reduces CO2 emissions and electrical operating expenses. Over the years, the demand in Canada for sustainable and power-save technology continued to increase. Building a strong local presence and ESP well count in Alberta and Saskatchewan, Novomet PowerSave ESP’s are experiencing above average run-life cycles and quickly becoming a very desirable option for O&G companies due to economic challenges such as higher electricity prices, lower oil prices and inflation.

Novomet-Egypt celebrates its 10th anniversary

Novomet-Egypt is a young, but rapidly growing company.
Its history began in 2012 with the first installation of slimline ESP of 319 series equipped with permanent magnet motor for sidetrack operation, which was performed in the MENA region specially for Eshpetco Company. This equipment had reached almost 1200 days of run-life. The article SPE-184195-MS covered these developments was released in 2016 at the conference in Bahrain.

Nowadays, more than 100 ESP systems are in operation, which is about 12% of Egyptian market share and it's only the beginning. Novomet products are in high demand thanks to the quality of equipment and provided services as well asthanks to the unique technologies in its portfolio: Power-Save equipment with permanent magnet motors (50% of Egyptian wells stock , energy saving is about 25-30% compared to peers), slimline equipment (272, 319 series), solutions for wells with high gas-oil ratio (gas separators, multiphase pumps, advanced gas handlers), solutions for solids management (filters) and scale management (solid/liquid inhibitors), ESP systems with extended operating range (Impala ESP).

Company’s office is located in Cairo and assembly facilities, which are one of the most modern workshops to assemble ESP systems in the country and throughout the African continent, are located in Alexandria. Moreover, in Alexandria Novomet has a Test Center dedicated to testing of VSDs by of different brands to check compatibility with permanent magnet motors by Novomet origin. As well Novomet has a Training Center, where both Customers and Novomet employees are trained to operate ESP systems, courses are available in English and Arabic and for various levels of competency.

Novomet will take part in the oil and gas trade show and conference EGYPS 2023

Event will take place from 13-15 February 2023 in Cairo at the Egypt International Exhibition Center with an expanded exhibition space attracting 32,000+ attendees from local & international businesses to identify opportunities from Egypt, North Africa and the East Mediterranean’s future project requirements, strategic priorities and gain insights into the wider oil and gas sector.

EGYPS provides a unique platform for interaction between leading NOCs, IOCs, IECs and service providers. Leading energy companies from around the world convene and bring industry leading technologies and solutions to the region’s largest oil, gas and energy event.

Novomet will present its innovative developments at its own stand. The main exhibit will be Colibri ESP model. Deploying an entirely rigless electrical submersible pumping system changes the economics of oil production, especially in offshore wells. By completely eliminating the need for a rig, the Colibri cable-deployed rigless ESP system saves time and cost while reducing deferred production. Novomet specialists will advise all interested visitors about the company's products.

Novomet-Ecuador.​ 10 years of continuous development and satisfied customers.

The representative office of Novomet-Ecuador is steadily developing. The service base in Lago-Agrio is actively working, which is important for the provision of services for a rental
project. Our main customer in the country is the state oil and gas company Petroecuador.

Today, the maintenance fund is more than 140 wells. Novomet-Ecuador holds 6% of the ESP market share and is one of the five approved Petroecuador suppliers.

We have a lot to be proud of. Customers appreciate Novomet-Ecuador for active use of power save equipment, solutions for wells with high GOR and solutions against mechanical
impurities, dual systems.

We would like to notice the successful promotion and implementation of the horizontal pumping systems (HPS). Ecuador is the biggest HPS market for Novomet overseas
and we’re sharing 6% of this market in the country. As of today, due to perfect work of our Novomet-Ecuador team, we have more than 40 HPS units in operation. Our HPS team in Ecuador performs all operations such as assembly, commissioning and maintenance on their own. Also, our specialists completed the biggest project for our main customer in the country, PetroEcuador – 5 sets of complete systems with 200 000BPD flowrate and 2500PSI pressure
were installed for B43, ITT field. Within this project the biggest thrust chamber in the market was implemented - up to 30 ton of axial load capacity.

Our first surface pumps NV19000 were delivered to the customers in Ecuador. These pumps were highly evaluated by our customers, Cuyabenopetro and Pardaliservises due to high
efficiency and relatively small dimensions. A few requests for these pumps were received by our team in Ecuador for the new projects and retrofit as well.

All these achievements are a great merit of the team and the CEO Lenin Pozo, under whose leadership the team is moving towards new achievements.

We know that the Novomet-Ecuador team has big plans and tasks for the next year.

Novomet - Argentina – 10 years. Congratulations on your first anniversary!

In 2012, Novomet made an important decision to open a representative office on the other side of the planet, in Argentina. The decision was not an easy one. We had to work "from scratch". It is more pleasant to realize that after 10 years there is something to be proud of.

Despite the progressive inflation in the country, our representative office in Argentina is steadily developing. Novomet already occupies 15% of the ESP market share, which is the third indicator in the region among service companies. Today, the maintenance fund is more than 650 wells. And the customer is ready to increase the fund, which indicates a high level of professionalism of our employees and trust from customers.
Novomet-Argentina is 138 people, all as one big friendly family, all high professionals. This is one of the largest service bases of Novomet abroad in terms of capacity.

Customers constantly want to introduce new technologies. There are more than 200 energy-efficient installations operating in Argentina, Colibri (installations on a load-carrying cable), Impala (pumps with an extended operating range), small sizes ESP (3) are also in active demand.

We express our gratitude to the entire team of Novomet-Argentina and would like to mention separately the director of Novomet-Argentina Mario Forchiassin, as well as Commercial Director Daniel Santos, Technical Director Juan Segnini, HR Director German Varas. If 10 years ago they had not become part of the Novomet family and had not started the development of the company in Argentina, we would not have celebrated this anniversary today. Under their management, the work is built up and excellent results are achieved.
