Spring is in the air. What a beautiful time of year in our favorite city. Flowers are starting to bloom, the birds are singing and the pollen in the air is bringing us seasonal allergies. McDonald’s left a big void in the hearts and stomachs of Russian people after exiting the Russian market. Recent statistics have shown that shawarma sales have increased 23 times in the last 2 months since Russia has been without Big Macs. Nobody really knows if it’s cat or dog meat that is served in those burrito like concoctions from small kiosks all over Moscow with close to zero regard for sanitary standards but seems like business is good.

Built in 1909 this beautiful movie theater just recently reopened its doors after a 6 year renovation process. Top of the line equipment and posh interior. The only problem is that Hollywood is no longer going to send Russia any movies because of the sanctions. It’s ok though. We can always watch the “Diamond Arm” for the 55th time.
