The idea of bringing together seniors and youth is expressed figuratively through two concepts: geometric shapes intersecting each other and and other graphic elements, and a font pair of Mabry (modern grotesque) and Bradford (serif font with a long history, originating from a font created by Römische Antiqua in 1884). The colours contribute to expressing this idea, combining soft and calm colours with energetic, fresh ones.

We incorporated in the website blueprints that we drew based on the pavilion created by for architecture biennale in Seoul in 2021. Their pavilion is a redefinition of a Stabbur, a Norwegian building traditionally used to store food.

We also created illustrations for creator of Greymatter, the Localll company.

Museum provided us with an impressive number of archive photos, sketches and pictures regarding different milestones in theatre's history. We decided to keep the format as it was, which allowed us to create predictable, yet unique rythm. It also made longreads more readable. The grid is based on two main lines, implicated into each website page. Those lines lead viewer's glare through the page. Some pictures and texts are moved a quarter to the right, making composition more dynamic and readability higher.

Font in longreads is not only functional, but also aesthetical and important for composition. It may be placed in a counterform as well as break into the main text as a quote. Source Serif is more bold, it creates accents while being readable enough. Suisse Intl is more neutral and and matchable in its shape and rythm.

Greymatter identity consists of two styles. One is the vibrant and natural brush stroke. Another one is clear, straight and flat — geometric shapes. The combination of these two styles illustrates the connection between seniors and youth. We created more than 20 illustrations for the project. All of them incorporate brush strokes in the way they are drawn, and show the real Greymatter characters. Their names and histories can be found on Greymatter.city

Each project of this studio is unique due to the fact that each client is special - and gets a special approach. And light is used to change the space, as both a painter and a sculptor of the artistic decision.

As the format of the photo is crucial for the impression it creates, we have kept all of the original proportions of the photos while creating our website.
